L.L. 1746 Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
CONFIDENTIALITY. DIGNITY. RESPECT
My name is Chase Phillips and I am the new EAP Coordinator for Local 1746 here in East Hartford. I took over for Sean Marcil in the summer of 2024. I am a welder in L Building and a Union Member here at Pratt and Whitney since July of 2016. I wanted to get my info out there and put a face with a name so if anyone is struggling at all, please do not hesitate to reach out. My job as the EAP Coordinator is to help our Union Members in any way that I can and if I can’t help, then I will do my best to find someone that can. As we all know, the wellbeing of employees is key to maintaining a healthy, productive, and engaged workforce. The EAP Coordinator serves as a key point of contact to support employees who may be struggling with personal challenges, including recovery, mental health issues, and other personal concerns. We have one of the best Union EAP programs around and I would like for it to continuously improve. Again, if there is any way I can help, please reach out and utilize the program. If you are unsure whether it’s something EAP can assist with, call and ask myself or a Shop Steward. We all have issues and struggles in life. Please do not feel like your issue is too big or too small. It is very important to me that people feel comfortable and safe in sharing their issues, therefore this is a confidential program. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be of service and hopefully be of assistance.
Best Regards,
Chase Phillips
