Here are the results of the Strike Sanction Vote held on April 4, 2025. this result does a couple of things. It releases funds for the International for strike benefits if we are to go on strike this result also sends a strong message to the company that we want and deserve a fair contract! A record number of members came out to vote and 98.7% voted in favor to sanction a strike if necessary. This result sends a very strong message to the company!
Thank you to everyone who came out to vote and thank you to everyone who helped make this vote a success this is from our Negotiation Committe, the people who help make the make grinders, work in the kitchen to make and sell the grinders, and our Shop Stewards and Safety Reps who helped spread the word in the membership. All of this would not have been possible without all of the time and effort put in by everyone.
